Orange County has many animal shelters located within the county boundaries. Some cities have thier own animal shelters while others are serviced by the animal shelter on city drive known as Orange County Animal Shelter.
Something to consider when looking to adopt a pet is that many shelters in Orange County have more animals then they can reasonably manage. While the shelters provide many services, adoptions are one of thier main services and anyone looking for a new pet should consider adopting from one of these many shelters in their local area.
