4th ANNUAL SPREAD THE NEWS WINE TASTING - September 6th
|
The Peacock Foundation, a non-profit organization lead by Lisa Peacock, creatively joins rescue animals with traumatized youth in an effort to heal their hearts. With the help of the foundation's valued sponsors, committee and volunteers Lisa is able to continuously adopt animals in need while reaching out to children in various youth programs across Los Angeles and Phoenix. Animal-assisted therapy has been used since the 1960's in various forms to help children overcome physical, emotional and learning challenges. It is used in The Peacock Foundation to display stories of neglect, abuse and abandonment in order to relate to the affected children, teaching them about positive peer relationships, tackling their fears and overcoming adversity.
CBS Radford Studios graciously opens their doors for the 4th year in a row to host the wine tasting of the season, Spread The News. Organic To Go will be providing healthy and delectable treats for our patrons as we sample wine from around the world. Join us as we stroll down a New York street to the soft jazz notes of a street band while sipping titillating wines. All of this enjoyment and the entire time you are benefiting a generation of troubled youth.
